Chevy Cobalt stalls when Slowing down or Stopping

A car that stalls when slowing down or stopping can not only be an annoyance but it can also be dangerous. 5. Do some basic maintenance of the car; that would help too. You can consider changing the wires, plugs, rotors and caps of the distributor. This is a simple thing to do; just make sure you have a couple of hours handy. These parts can undergo wear and tear over time and that would require them to be replaced periodically. In most cases, replacing these parts can take care of the stalling problem.

6. Replacing the spark plugs can also help. In most cases where the Chevy Cobalt stalls when slowing down or stopping, it is the spark plug at fault.
